About Us

Some years ago we were given the mandate 'equip the saints, build platforms for people, and invest in others' and to that end we are labouring. Our passion is to see 'ordinary Christians' begin to realise that they are not so 'ordinary' and that they are of a 'unique and peculiar' order! We live to see a company of people arise who will invade the world with the goodness and kindness of God, demonstrating his Kingdom wherever they go. Our key areas of ministry are as follows:

Healing Rooms

We are the Regional Directors for Healing Rooms, Scotland (East of Scotland Region) and also act as the local Directors of the Edinburgh Healing Rooms. We regularly host Healing Room Training Days where the vision of the International Association of Healing Rooms is explained, along with biblical teaching on healing. You can click this link to read about our personal story of how the Lord led us into this work. If you are interested in this aspect of our ministry more information can be found on the Healing Rooms Scotland Website. www.healingrooms-scotland.com

Wellsprings

We are also involved Wellsprings, a new House of Prayer and Worship recently formed on the east side of Edinburgh. It is an unfolding vision and an exciting 'work in progress'. Dave and Maggie Hewitt are the visionaries who obeyed God, launched out in faith and bought the old church building that is now Wellsprings. There are many aspects to Wellsprings, but all are undergirded by a core community or 'church' that now meets on Sunday afternoons. Further information can be found at www.wellsprings.uk.net

Training and Equipping

We are committed to training and equipping the saints. This takes many forms;

Edinburgh Prayer

For a number of years we ran the "Edinburgh Prayer Watch" which consisted of a group of praying people from across the city. Although the Prayer Watch no longer officially exists, we still act as 'custodians' of the Edinburgh Prayer website. This site now advertises and promotes prayer events/gatherings happening across the city as well as giving links to prayer ministries in the city and nation. See www.edinburghprayer.org
